Jason Maoz hearts Richard Nixon II

And, while Maoz isn't shy about displaying own anti-Semitism as he hurries to blame us -ie: the Jews - for his hero's trevails, Nixon's famous hatred for Jews is glibly brished aside:
Nixon`s attitudes toward Jews, observes the historian Herbert Parmet in Richard Nixon and His America, "were not particular to Nixon but rather reflect those of his times and culture.
Really? This was 1971, not 1917! Who, outside of a comic book, talked like this in 1971?
26 May 1971
Nixon: "You know, it's a funny thing, every one of the bastards that are out for legalizing marijuana is Jewish. What the Christ is the matter with the Jews, Bob? What is the matter with them? I suppose it is because most of them are psychiatrists."

5 Jul 1971
NIXON: The Jews -- the Jews are, are born spies. You notice how many of them are just in up to their necks?
HALDEMAN: A basic deviousness.

13 Sep 1971
NIXON: Now here's the point, Bob. Please get the names of the Jews. You know, the big Jewish contributors to the Democrats. Could you please investigate some of the cocksuckers? That's all."

1 Feb 1972
Nixon: The Jews are irreligious, atheistic, immoral bunch of bastards.
You don't have to call that anti-Semitism if you don't want to, Jason. But who do you serve by denying that this sort of talk represents a worldview deserving of the strongest reproach?
