Counting the votes in Vishnitz
Aren't machine politics grand? According to my insiders, the Monsey Machine, for a change, supported a Republican and endorsed Vanderhouf (who lost). At this particular polling station, he received close to 1000 votes. His opponent received exactly five.
In an unrelated story, five residents of Vishnitz were sent packing yesterday afternoon, after their food stamps were cut off....
