Another Katrina Quiz

UPDATED

Fires continue to rage in New Orleans, and many people, trapped by floodwaters, still have not been contacted. The NOLA fire department is exhausted after working around the clock for a week, so you put out a call for firefighters. Over 1000 respond, carrying backpacks, sleeping bags, and first-aid kits, ready to wade in floodwaters, sift through rubble and save lives. Many of them are also search-and-rescue certified, paramedics, and haz-mat certified.

Your question:

What did FEMA do with these firefighters?

(choose one)

(a) dispatch them to NOLA, under the terms of a previously developed plan for coordinating assistance from multiple municipalities
(b) send them into the city on their own
(c) Send them to a course in Atlanta on sexual harassment
(d) Train them to hand out flyers with the FEMA phone number on it
(e) FLy fifty to NOLA to stand behind GWB while he makes a speech
