Temporary Lift of Rabbinic Ban (by special arrangement)

This Yiddish CD has been banned by the Gedolim. Why? I have no idea. This CD's availability is very limited, and in accordance with the ban, is sold with a sticker that says, "Not for Chareidi Jews" (I kid you not!). If you understand why kite flying has been banned in Afghanistan, you probably have some insight into what is wrong with this CD.

Using my extensive connections, I have arranged for Dov Bear readers only to be able to listen to one of the songs off the CD, with the stipulation that it only be heard once, and only today, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Standard Eastern Time. If you choose to take advantage of this temporary lift, as a courtesy to your fellow ban-observing Jew, please lower the volume when listening in the vicinity of others.

For your listening pleasure, here is the controversial song.

More about the ban.
