LINK DUMP: TODAY'S REMAINDERS

A recently discovered Warsaw ghetto diary describes last days of 1943 Jewish uprising. The six-page diary, apparently the only account written during the uprising that survived the battle, has surfaced at a Holocaust museum in Israel.

Oscar expectations for Passions are lowered in an MSN piece headlined, "The Passion’ doesn't have a prayer." Happily, the Jews who control Hollywood aren't scapegoated. Yet.

This just in: "Christmas is the second most sacred holiday of the year, one that celebrates the birth of the savior Jesus Christ. Jews do not recognize such a savior. Hanukkah, on the other hand, is a relatively minor Jewish holiday that is a recognition of Jewish freedom." You can thank the NewsTimes of Conneticut for that scoop.

Speaking of scoops, President Bush's Hanukkah Message is a crashing bore, and he repeats the shibboleth that the victory of the Macabbees had something to do with "freedom" as we use the word today.

And something else that doesn't compute: our friend Madonna fired her manager. Because of her devotion to the Kabbalah? [Contact Music.com] Or because the guy was having an affair with a bodyguard. [Femalefirst.co.uk]

Finally, in Miami the word on the street is "Instead of Israel, Jews choose Miami" Says who? The St. Petersburg Times, naturally.
