Devarim has the scoop, together with some spot-on analysis, about Steven Speilberg's next project: the story of the kidnapping and murder of Israeli athletes at the Munich games in 1972.
While doing some Speilberg-related digging of my own, I came across a blog belonging to someone who seems to be living in a parrallel universe of some kind. Discussing the Munich project he writes:
pro: Spielberg attempts a repeat of 1993 with a serious Oscar contender after a big summer hit
con: Could incite bad-will between the currently peaceful Israel and Palestine.
There's optimism, boys and girls, and then there is dreaming out loud.
