Riddle me this:

Why have Dean's comments about the GOP dominated the cable news networks, while meanwhile Tom Delay can put out a hit on federal judges and it gets a one minute segment between the blog report and Bay Buchanan?

Why does the media permit the GOP to pander to its base, in this way? Why is is a "smart strategy" when Bush caters to his base, but time for three-inch headlines when anyone caters to the filthy Democrat rabble? I know, I know: Bush's base are Real Americans while the Democratic base consists of a bunch of godless, bi-coastal, terrorist sympathizers who are waaaay outside the mainstream.

All 49% of 'em.
