Through
VIN, I see that 13 of our Republican friends in Congress have voted against funding a museum of Jewish History in Warsaw. [The other 407 members, including hundreds of republicans, voted Yes] That's fine, I suppose, and if I cared to think about it, its possible I'd end up agreeing with the 13 nay sayers: I mean, why should we be spending American money on a Polish institution?
But get this. One of the VIN commenters, a GOP Jew, no doubt, has a much better explanation:
The republicans voted against it, because their track records shows they support jews, while the Democrats, need votes like these to try to prove they are not anti jewish.
Makes perfect sense to me!
