NBC News White House Correspondent Norah O’Donnell reports President Bush is in the Oval Office monitoring the pope situation with his senior staff.
Do we really want the president and his senior staff sitting around all day going, "Is he dead yet? Is he dead yet?"
Granted, this is probably not a bad job for W; it's clearly something he can handle, but does he really need the senior staff helping him with this project? When are they going to start trusting him to handle menial tasks himself?
