To the people who disliked my first post about the Belgian ambassador and the fake crises manufactured by presidential candidates who can't be bothered to read or understand transcripts:
Please address this simple question: Are you claiming that Israel can tear down houses, usurp land, and murder people without provoking hatred from the people who've been affected, from their friends and family, or from other people who may identify with them? How does that make any sense at all? Even as we condemn violence in all forms, can't we recognize that not all forms of hatred are equally baseless?
(And note the following for-the-sake-of-argument stipulations:
(1) Israel never does anything wrong, and has only ever torn down a house, usurped a piece of property or killed an Arab when the circumstances absolutely required it and only in ways that were legal and justified. I don't want to discuss Israel's actions, but the response to those actions. For the sake of this discussion I'll agree that Israel is 100 percent innocent, and has never done anything wrong;
(2) Acting on hatred is always wrong, even if the hatred itself can be traced to a real grievance)
