NY post headline: COPYCATTY COULTER PILFERS PROSE: PRO
Or in language the rest of us can understand: There are at least three examples of "text book" plagiarism in Godless that awful book Coulter wrote about her experiences as an atheist, growing up in middle America..
For those of you wondering how Ann permitted herself to steal pages and pages of text from other writers, we present this explanation provided, in another context, by sweet Ann herself: "Christianity fuels everything I write."
Sure, why not? The original Christians were plagiarists, too, who appropriated whole swaths of the Hebrew Bible, and put it into the service of their new faith. And in our day, this tradition is continued by mega-church pastors like Joel Osteen who suavely repackage self-help literature as Christianity.
In any event, I can't wait to see how Ann blames this on the 9/11 widows or Bill Clinton's peccadillos.
