The TV news is saying that Texas -big and mighty Texas! - has room for perhaps 250,000 refugees from New Orleans.
Now, isn't Texas a whole lot bigger, and richer than places like Syria, Egypt and Jordan?
So why are you so certain that Egypt and Syria and Jordan are capable of integrating into their economic and social structure the 3.5 million Palesteinains refugees who still live in refugee camps? If Texas can't handle even a half million refugees, how can you expect Syria, Egypt and Jordan to manage seven times as many?
