The PS 22 choir hearts Chanukka

In the video that follows a godless, secular, public school music teacher takes a break from advocating for gay marriage to prepare his choir to perform an awfully sweet Chanukka song that he wrote himself.

Additional clips of this same chior singing in Hebrew after the jump. Quite lovely in an entirely non-Maccabeat sort of way.

Who are they? Wikipedia tells all: "The PS22 Chorus is an elementary school chorus from Public School 22 in Graniteville, Staten Island (New York). It is composed of 60-70 fifth-graders, and is directed by Gregg Breinberg"

(Yes, that's Matisyahu in the front row)

(Can that soloist sing, or what?)
