More Jewish Borowing

Jews have always borrowed songs, dances, clothing, names, and yes, even ideas, from other cultures. We've been doing it since the earliest days of the faith. And the most remarkable things is that even as it continues to happen, some Jews piously swear that it has never happened and never will happen. In fact, we're right in the middle of a holiday obstentiously dedicated to the proposition that Judaism can't ever be infected by foreign influences.
