A mystery on Obama vs Romney I'd like you to solve

If you require additional proof that a certain segment of the American Jewish community has completely lost its mind on the Obama question consider this:

The president has stated about 10 million times that Iran will not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons. He has also, in the strongest possible terms, reiterated that American support for Israel is unwavering, unbreakable, and unshakable.

But how does particular segment of the American Jewish community respond to these promises? Like this: BOOOOOO. You're lying! We can't trust you! BOOOOOOO!

What has the president done to deserve this mistrust? Other than being born black, and choosing to run as a Democrat, I can't think of anything. His record on Israel matters is platinum. There is absolutely no good reason to doubt his word, yet certain Jews swear up and down that their mistrust is perfectly reasonable, though, in fact, its based on nothing but superstition, fear, and gut hunches.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the aisle, Mitt Romney says exactly what the president says. He also promises to prevent Iran from going nuclear. He also promises America will always be Israel's personal butt boy. Yet, his words are met with swoons, smiles and shouts of appreciation. No one think's he's lying.

The question is: Why? What is the the difference? Why do the words WE WILL STOP IRAN FROM GOING NUCLEAR mean one thing when Obama says it, and something else when its Romney doing the talking? Makes no sense. Romney has never done a damn thing for Israel, whereas Obama's can boast a long laundry list of contributions to Israel's support and security. If you're going to believe one candidate, and not the other, why not trust the candidate who's actually done a thing or 10,000 for Israel?
