In which Rabbi Alderstein meets Rabbi Kanefsky on a bridge

Rabbi Alderstein was walking across a bridge one day, when  he saw Rabbi Kanefsky standing on the edge, about to jump. Rabbi Alderstein ran over and said: "Stop. Don't do it."

"Why shouldn't I?" he asked.

"Well, there's so much to live for!"

"Like what?"

"Are you religious?"

He said, "Yes."

I said, "Me too. Are you Christian or Jewish?"

"Jewish."

"Me too. Are you Kaaraite or Rabbinate?"

"Rabbinate."

"Me too. Are you Orthodox or non-Orthodox?"

"Orthodox."

"Wow. Me too. Do you keep strict Orthodox kosher, including glatt meat?"

"Yes."

"Me too. Do you daven three times per day?"

"Absolutely."

"Me too. Do you say all the morning blessings, or do you skip the one about women?"

He said: "I say them all but I skip the one about women."

Rabbi Alderstein said: "Die, heretic scum," and pushed Rabbi Kanefsky off the bridge.
