It's been ages and ages since Cara has said anything on this blog, which sucks because she was one of our original most-excellent commenters.
And this guy Amshi had a little crush on her, too, which was great from a soap opera perspective.
She's back, now, and with a question:
I've never heard of lighting candles for a melave malka. Would someone be kind enough to explain the origins without being unnecessarily snaky about it?
