I really don't get this equation of liberals and anti-Israel - most of the Jews I know ARE liberals, and we certainly support Israel. Or by "anti-Israel," do you just mean anyone who opposes any decision taken by the Israeli government? Liberals, by definition, are oppose-niks, who will criticize the government of ANY country (including their own) when they think it's doing something wrong. It's called having a conscience.

Additionally, RWers like to pretend that anyone who opposes the idea of Greater Israel is automatically an anti-Semite. It's a neat trick, and it explains how they are able to tar Bill Clinton as an enemy of Israel. The man moved heaven and earth trying to create a middle east where Jews could live peacefully and securely, but because he didn't embrace the land-grabbing fantasies of the extreme RW, he'll forever be remembered in Brooklyn and an anti-Semite.
