On the whining of originalists

I am tired of the whining of Originalist Jews.

Why do people who keep an extra days of Yom Tov insist on the narrowest possible interpretation of the Constitution? Why do people who accept that "an eye for an eye" means something far less ghoulish, think "penumbras of privacy" are an impermissible exegesis?

In general, the originalists are a bunch of crybabies. Boo hoo. The mean judge usruperd power. Whah whah. The mean judge isn't doing what Madison thought he would.

You babies need to wake up and understand that in the real world, people -even black robed justices - sieze power - for both good reasons and bad. The founders understood this. They expected this. It's why we have a seperation of powers. It's why the Constitution allows for the impeachment of a justice.

Instead of whining about how the mean old justices aren't doing what the great sainted founders envisioned, why don't YOU do what the founders expected from a disastaisfied citizen and organize an impeachment movement?
