Whine, whine, whine

MoChassid, is jabbering about the "Culture of Death," but like most GOP-Jews, all he sees fit to mention is abortion and Schavio.

MoC, why don't you lay some of the blame on the doorstep of GOP legislatures and governors who've made the death penalty as widespread as it is? Why don't you include GWB in this, after all he's the one that signed a Texas law making it possible for hospitals in Texas to kill people who can't afford their respirators and feeding tubes? And let's not forget the bogus war, and the president's plan to cut medical benefits to troops and old people. That's part of the culture of death, too, isn't it?

It is somewhat bizarre for a GOP-Jew to whine about the "culture of death" when he supports the death penalty, war in Iraq, cutting medical benefits to troops and old people, and when his patron saint, the president of the United States, signed a bill authorizing hospitals in Texas to kill people who can't afford their respirators and feeding tubes.

Abortion, the subject GOP-Jews love to go on and on about, is just a small part of the picture.

[Note: I agree that TS should have been kept alive, but only because there was some doubt about her wishes. However, it's the height of sanctimony to pretend that THIS case is demonstrative of something bad in the American culture, when you (not nec. you, but GOP-Jews) go on voting for governors, legislators and presidents who only oppose death when they think it can give them a boost in the polls.

Disclosure: My view on abortion is the view of Rabbi Eliezar Waldenberg which (surprise!)is not the evangelical Christian view.]
