Solomon's Speech II

On reflection, it is not very bizarre that Matisyahu Solomon thinks death camp inmates did nothing all day but sing about their emunah.

He is the sort of person, after all, who believes that Jewish culture and Jewish learning reached their absolute, never to be surpassed, pinnacle in the slums of Eastern Europe.

If you already believe that the average shtetle Jew was pious and learned and lived a life of perfect happines, and utter contentment, well, singing death camp inmates, isn't such a leap
