Otherwise, the job sounds a little bit like blogging on the sly at work: "You should be able to write a decent story under difficult conditions -- freezing cold office, malfunctioning computers, needlessly loud intercoms, annoying co-workers from other departments, etc." It's what I do everyday.
Can the journalists answer: Is this par for the course at real papers?
