Bookies open betting on next Pope

Irish bookmakers have opened betting on who will succeed him, proving, once again, bookies will set odds for anything.

Folks, with the NCAA tournament having concluded, this PopePool might be the best betting action available, so you'll want to get in on it. It's sure to make watching the conclave more enjoyable. (For those of you not in the know, watching a conclave is a bit like watching professional golf, only more exciting. What you do, is you sit on your chair waiting for white smoke to leave the Sistine Chapel's chimney. When that happens you cheer. (Habemus Papam!) If black smoke pours out you boo (Boux!) That's about it.)

Anyway, here's my Faithful Four bracket, chosen purely on the basis of how humorous their names are: Cardinal Dionigi Tettamanzi, Cardinal Oscar Andres Rodriguez Maradiaga, Cardinal Ennio Antonelli, and, finally, my Cinderella pick: Cardinal Albert Pujols.
